Management Team

David Hayden - Chairman and CEO

David is an established visionary and technology entrepreneur. In 2004, Hayden created JetEye , a web-cloud social networking company, with ground-breaking content aggregation technology. He was founding Chairman and CEO of Critical Path, which pioneered software and email as a hosted service in 1997, and went public in 1999. He co-founded the Magellan Search Engine in 1993, and served as its Chairman and CEO until selling the company to Excite, Inc in 1996. David holds a BA in Political Science from Stanford University.

John Schneider - CTO

John is an expert in Web and mobile development across several platforms.  Prior to CloudTalk, John managed software and bioinformatics for at GE Healthcare, managed the HP ECAD platform development group and was the research lab manager at Zuken. He most recently served as a consultant for a leading IT consulting firm and pioneered a location based services company. He earned his BSE in Computer Science at Columbia University.

John Linney - CMO

John has an extensive background in product strategy and delivering successful software products. Prior to CloudTalk, John was EVP of Product Development at NBX, a sports social network platform. He has held senior positions at multiple companies, including the VP of Product Management for Grand Central Communications, VP of Product Management at Digital Research, and positions in Engineering, Product Management, and Business Development at Novell. John is a U.K. native and earned his Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computing from West Glamorgan University.

Bernard Fraenkel - EVP, Engineering

Bernard has over 25 years of experience inventing, and bringing to market leading edge technology. He was most recently CTO at Total Immersion, the leader in Augmented Reality. Previously, he was VP of Engineering at Teachscape and led engineering at ClairMail (Mobile Banking), Sendmail (Internet scale email), Akimbi (virtualization - acquired by VMware) Persist Technologies (information lifecycle management -  acquired by HP), Bigstep (e-commerce - acquired by Affinity). Earlier in his career, Bernard developed products ranging from cell phones to digital cameras, and MPEG codecs. Bernard holds two U.S. patents, and graduated from Ecole Polytechnique Paris, France and earned an MS in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.
